Customer Reviews about Peter A. Philip, PT
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I'm in my 50's and a physical wreck. I've had a total knee replacement and have had 3 back operations. I've dislocated both my shoulders, damaged an elbow, and a host of other stuff. I have both witnessed and personally experienced Dr. Philip's great work with patients. I have been athletic my entire life and have never had such an exceptionally good experience with the many physical therapists I have encountered during decades in doctors' offices. Simply stated, Peter Philip is the best. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. Doctor Philip got me back on skis! Dr. Philip often treats groin and other "sensitive" or "difficult" medical issues. I have only witnessed the utmost appropriate behavior and manner of care by Dr. Philip and his excellent staff, particularly when dealing with sensitive/difficult cases, new patients, and especially with kids. During the past few years, I have had more appointments with Peter Philip than anyone else. I know. THANK YOU DR. PHILIP FOR HELPING ME GET BETTER!!!July 05, 2017by Andrew Dobbin
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I came to Philips Physical Therapy after many years with another well known PT group. The experience could not be more different between the two. My original group simply went through the motions and tried to move people in and out as quickly as possible. Dr. Philips and his staff develop a tailor-made program for each of their patients. An ENTIRE hour is spent learning and DOING your exercises. In the long run this is the only way to correctly rehab patients. As for the previous poster's comments about inappropriate touching, I question if there is an ulterior motive. The office is a completely open space with Dr. Philips and his staff out in the open with 4-6 patients milling about. It is impossible for anything "inappropriate" to take place in such an open environment. People also need to remember - this is physical therapy - the doctor and his therapists need to touch certain parts of your body to demonstrate how to properly do your exercises - much like your family doctor needs to touch certain parts of your body during an examination. Dr. Philips and his staff always asked for permission prior to touching any muscle groups involved in the exercises. The only way I read the previous reviewer's comments about inappropriate touching is bizarre.June 08, 2017by Gregg Levethan
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My whole family has been patients of Dr. Philip for quite some time. Dr. Philip has such incredible knowlege as does the rest of his staff. My children were also taught exercises that they can do at home to help prevent future injuries from reocurring. The review below by "Stephanie" is inaccurate. Dr. Philip is never inapproptiate with his touch! Dr. Philip will ask permission before he lays a hand on you. My 9 yr old daughter was treated by Dr. Philip as I stood there. Dr. Philip asked my daughter and myself if he was allowed to touch and examine her knee. Treatment is done in view of everyone at the facility. It is too bad when someone makes a malicious accusation on a review especially one involves a child.March 17, 2017by Susan Iacovacci
